Marinated chicken skewer - Bamse (Brasserie Chien Bleu)

For a Scandinavian Blonde Ale, with its light and herbaceous profile, we offer Chicken Skewers Marinated in Lemon and Thyme . This combination of fresh and aromatic flavors pairs perfectly with the sweetness and subtle notes of the beer.

Ingredients for 2 people:

For the chicken skewers:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper

To accompany :

  • Lemon slices and thyme sprigs for garnish

Instructions :

  1. Marinade for Chicken :

    • In a large bowl, combine the lemon juice and zest, olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, salt and pepper.
    • Add the chicken cubes and toss to coat well.
    • Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, ideally a few hours.
  2. Preparation of the Skewers :

    • Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water beforehand to prevent them from burning).
  3. Cooking the Skewers :

    • Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
    • Grill the chicken skewers on each side until cooked through and golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Services :

    • Serve the skewers hot, garnished with lemon slices and fresh thyme sprigs.
