Teriyaki Chicken Bowl with Rice and Sautéed Vegetables

For a Session IPA brewed with a little wheat, offering intense aromas and a creamy texture, we offer a Teriyaki Chicken Bowl with Rice and Sautéed Vegetables . This dish combines rich, smooth umami flavors that complement the beer's hoppy undertones and silky texture.

Ingredients for 2 people:

For the teriyaki chicken:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • 4 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil

For the sautéed vegetables:

  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 red pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 zucchini, cut into half-moons
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

For the bowl:

  • Cooked rice (preferably sushi rice or jasmine rice)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onion, chopped to garnish

Instructions :

  1. Preparation of Teriyaki Chicken :

    • In a bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, honey and garlic. Add the chicken pieces and leave to marinate for 15 minutes.
    • In a skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Reserve.
  2. Cooking Vegetables :

    • In the same pan, add the olive oil and sauté the vegetables until tender but still crunchy.
  3. Bowl assembly :

    • Place a portion of rice in each bowl.
    • Add the teriyaki chicken and sautéed vegetables around the rice.
    • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion.
  4. Service :

    • Serve hot, ideally with a chilled Session IPA on hand.
