Spiced Roast Chicken - White IPA (Twenty Six Brewery)

To accompany a White IPA, which combines the hoppy characteristics of an IPA with the freshness of a white beer, we offer a Roasted Chicken with Spices and Root Vegetables . This warm and spicy dish complements the citrus and spice notes of the beer.

Ingredients for 2 people:

  • 2 chicken thighs
  • 1 small parsnip, cut into sticks
  • 1 small carrot, cut into sticks
  • 1 small turnip, cut into quarters
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions :

  1. Preparation of Chicken and Vegetables :

    • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
    • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, cumin, coriander, orange zest, salt and pepper.
    • Coat the chicken thighs and root vegetables with this mixture.
  2. Cooking :

    • Arrange the chicken and vegetables in a baking dish.
    • Roast in the oven for about 40-45 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  3. Service :

    • Serve the chicken and root vegetables hot, drizzled with their cooking juices.
