Lime and Cilantro Shrimp Tacos

To accompany a Lemon Gose, a slightly tangy and salty beer with citrus notes, we offer Shrimp Tacos with Lime and Cilantro . This dish combines the freshness of shrimp and the liveliness of citrus, complementing the unique flavors of the beer.

Ingredients for 2 people:

  • 300g peeled shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Zest and juice of 2 limes
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper
  • Corn or wheat tortillas
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • Chopped fresh coriander

Instructions :

  1. Shrimp Marinade :

    • In a bowl, mix the shrimp with the olive oil, paprika, lime zest and juice, garlic, salt and pepper.
    • Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Cooking the Shrimp :

    • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Assembling the Tacos :

    • Heat the tortillas in a dry pan or in the microwave.
    • Top each tortilla with shrimp, avocado slices, red onion and fresh cilantro.
  4. Service :

    • Serve the tacos immediately, with extra lime wedges for drizzling.

The combination of spicy shrimp, creamy avocado and fresh cilantro creates a delicious balance of flavors and textures that pairs wonderfully with the light, acidic and lemony notes of Gose.
